Cooking gas prices drop as state cuts Value Added Tax by 50%

The price cuts come after enactment of Finance Act, 2022, which lowered value-added tax on LPG.

Cooking gas prices have fallen by between Sh100 and Sh250 following the slashing of Value Added Tax from 16 to eight per cent.
