On Monday, Muslim faithful will be celebrating Eid-ul-Adha.
He announced this in a gazette notice on Friday.
The CS declared July 11, a public holiday in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 (1) of the Public Holidays Act.
Eid al-Adha is the second and biggest of the two main holidays celebrated in Islam.
It honors the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah's command.
