Positivity rate at 3.7% as 82 test positive for Covid-19

No new deaths have been reported as the cumulative fatalities remain at 5,651.

• The new cases are from 2,197 samples tested in the last 24 hours.

• From the cases, 69 are Kenyans while 13 are foreigners, including 43 males and 39 females.

The Ministry of Health has announced 82 news cases bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 324,768.

The new cases are from 2,197 samples tested in the last 24 hours.

From the cases, 69 are Kenyans while 13 are foreigners, including 43 males and 39 females.

The youngest is a 3-year-old while the oldest is 88 years old.

Another 15 patients have recovered from the disease, all  from the Home Based and Isolation Care Program pushing total recoveries to 318,461.

No new deaths have been reported as the cumulative fatalities remain at 5,651.

There are 4 patients currently admitted in our health facilities, while 586 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.

No patient is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), none is on supplemental oxygen and no patient is in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).

In terms of county distribution; Nairobi 70, Kiambu 5, Mombasa 3, Kakamega 2, Kilifi and Uasin Gishu have one case each.
