Kenyans on Friday bade farewell to their third president Mwai Kibaki who died last week aged 90.

They braved the chilly weather to ensure that they attended the funeral service of Kibaki.

Military officers were also seen escorting a gun carriage carrying the coffin of late former Kenya's President Mwai Kibaki.

Dignitaries and presidents also graced the occasion as moving tributes were read.

The coffin was draped in the national flag.  He will be buried on Saturday in his Othaya home.
