Narc Kenya party on Friday held a National Delegates Conference to know the way forward ahead of the elections.
The more than 500 delegates arrived at the Ufungamano House in style.
They wore outfits that depicted the party's colour.
During the NDC, party leader Martha Karua announced it is ready to enter into a coalition with like-minded parties.
Karua said they are keen to work with parties that are committed to fighting graft, among other vices ahead of the general elections later in the year.
"We want to listen to the people who will tell us how they intend to protect resources. You can have all those wonderful ideas but if corruption is allowed to thrive, Kenyans will continue to suffer," she said.
Karua further urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors.
Karua said they transferred power willingly and peacefully when their respective times as Heads of State were up and retreated into private service, hence Uhuru should do the same.
" I want to tell anyone who may try to misinterpret the Constitution; the term limit means 10 years to steer the nation at the top level then exit and go do something else," she said.
