Over 1,500 sheep and goats were on Monday swept away by raging floods in Marsabit.

He said residents told them more livestock died in floods in the Huri Hills.

Those who lost the livestock are hopeless.

"They do not know what to do next," Joseph Guyo said.

“I had 215 sheep and goats,” the father of two said.

Guyo said he depends on livestock.
