Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi has said that the leadership of the Orange party in the city is united.
Speaking on Friday during a meeting with ODM MCAs from the city county, the MP said that the party will field candidates in all positions.
"The leadership of ODM party in Nairobi is united and we are working together, there are no divisions," he said.
He added that the party's inhouse differences can be handled by the party itself.
Wanyonyi met the MCAs at the United Kenya Club a few days after he officially announced his candidature for Nairobi governor.
While launching his bid, Wanyonyi said it's time to take his leadership skills to City Hall, having served Westlands for 15 years as a councillor and an MP.
If elected, the Westlands MP said he will invest in innovative ways to promote, protect and expand the environmental assets of the city.
“To catalyse business growth in Nairobi, I will put in place bold mechanisms to fight corruption by enforcing all the by-laws that have been passed to prevent corruption,” Wanyonyi added
Wanyonyi is expected to battle it out with former Starehe MP Margaret Wanjiru and Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja who have publicly declared they want to become the next county boss.
