A man has been charged with sexually assaulted an eight-year-old girl.
Robert Okwema is said to have committed the crime on September 25 at 2pm in Westlands.
Police said the child of the accused had invited the victim to their house for studies.
The accused, who was in the house, is alleged to have moved to where the girl was sitting and started touching her inappropriately before reaching for her privates.
The minor left the accused person’s house but later experienced pain while in the lavatory and shared the matter with her aunt who told her parents about the ordeal.
