Ashanti is in Kenya

Grammy award-winning American singer, songwriter and actress Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, popularly known as Ashanti, is in the country.

She landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Monday.

Ashanti is an R&B superstar from the early to mid-2000s.

She has not disclosed why she is in Kenya and has only shared Insta stories of her stay.

The 'Always on Time' and 'Rock Wit U' singer shared several video clips and put the location pin of Nairobi and the caption 'Hey, I'm in Nairobi. Motherland love'.

She shared a photo of herself enjoying coconut curry snapper.

She also showed off the Hemingways garden that has Angel Trumpet flowers that matched the colour of the top she was wearing to her 5.8 million followers on Instagram.
