Motorists using Mai Mahiu road stranded following trailer accident at the escarpment.
Motorists using the Naivasha-Mai Mahiu-Rironi road have been stranded following an accident that has blocked the road.
The accident involved a trailer that was moving towards Mai Mahiu.
Police officers are on the site of the accident and have started to open the road.
Kenya National Highways Authority said that the traffic snarl-up has taken longer to open up following overlapping by other vehicles.
Motorists have been advised to be patient as normal traffic is being restored.
“Traffic police are now fully in control and the snarl-up is projected to clear within an hour.”
Motorists have been asked to the upper road.
