Kenyan in US dies in grisly car crash moments after stabbing wife

A Kenyan man in the US was killed in a road accident, hours after he stabbed his wife at their Richmond, Virginia home on Wednesday.

The man identified as Wa Martin sped away from his house at around 8 am, after being involved in the ugly confrontation with his wife.

Henrico police say the car caught fire in the woods along I-64 after the driver veered off and hit a tree at high speed.

 

The vehicle was located in a wooded ditch and required Henrico firefighters to use foam in order to control and put out the flames.

Police say that the woman who had traumatic injuries was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Her injuries and identity have not been released.

According to NBC12 media, the Police say both incidents remain under investigation.
