Renowned author Ken Walibora is dead.
Walibora's remains were on Wednesday morning traced to Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary with indications that he was hit by a bus along Landhies Road.
Preliminary reports indicate Walibora was crossing the road, car keys in the hand, and a press card in his pocket, when he was knocked down by a matatu on Friday last week.
Walibora was known for several literary works including the popular 'Siku njema' novel published in 1996.
Some of his other novels include Kidagaa kimemwozea and Innocence long lost.
He previously taught at the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at the Riara University.
