Justices Chacha Mwita, Weldon Korir moved in latest reshuffle

Chief Justice David Maraga has transferred five High Court judges in a reshuffle announced on Monday.

Among those moved include Constitutional and Human Rights judge Chacha Mwita and Justice Weldon Korir of Malindi High Court.

Mwita has been moved to Kajiado as the presiding judge while Korir joins the Constitutional and Human Rights Division.

In a brief statement by Maraga, the transfers take effect from March 1.

Justice James Aaron Makau has been moved from the Commercial and Tax Division also to the Constitutional and Human Rights Division.

He will be replaced by Lady Justice Wilfred Okwany.

Justice Reuben Nyakundi who has been the presiding judge at Kajiado High Court has been moved to Malindi High Court to replace Korir.
