Busy Bee Academy produces best KCPE candidate in Mombasa

Busy Bee Academy in Mombasa produced the three top-performing pupils in the KCPE exam in Mombasa.

Ian Mailu scored 427 marks,

Nicole Nyambura (426) and Adan Gitare (424). The pupil with the lowest score

had 308 marks.

The

school got a

mean grade of 381.4 and last year it was 395.

Mailu thanked teachers and his parents for supporting

him.

"I want to be a civil engineer," he said on Monday.

Nyambura, 13, wants to be a paediatrician, while

Gitari, 14, aspires to be a pilot.

Gitari said,"

I worked really hard for this moment."

Headteacher Dorothy Kamairu said nine candidates had more 400 marks.

"Compared to last year, this class was fair," she said.
