A Lebanese national was on Thursday charged with forging a certificate in pharmacy and claiming it was issued by Kabete Technical Training Institute.
Abdifatah Adan was also charged with forging a result slip dated March 4, 2014 with the intention of lying about obtaining from the institution.
The place and date of the offence are unknown.
Osman was also charged with uttering a false document - the said certificate - at the Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board’s office on Lenana Road, Nairobi.
The court heard that he did this on
February 6, 2016
to one Joshua Plekwa, where he also cited the false result result slip.
The accused, who was out on a Sh40,000 police bond, denied the charges before chief magistrate Francis Andayi.
Osman requested the court to grant him lenient cash bail and bond terms on grounds that he is an orphan and has seven siblings he takes care of.
He said that he is currently paying college and high school fees for two of the said siblings.
The magistrate released him on a Sh100,000 bond or Sh 50,000 cash bail.
The matter will be mentioned on March 6 for subsequent hearing on April 4, 2017.
