Governor Isaac Rutto skipped Jamhuri Day celebrations on Monday at Bomet Stadium and held parallel functions instead. The celebrations were led by county commissioner Bernard Leparmarai, who read the President's speech.Rutto and Leparmarai do not see eye to eye. Rutto met the health workers in the morning to oversee the signing of a MoU on how to implement a CBA and later opened his a CCM office at Kembu in Bomet East.
