NLC unveils list of beneficiaries for coal project land

The National Land Commission has released a list of individuals to be compensated after their land was acquired to build a coal-fired power plant in Kwasasi, Lamu county.The NLC has approved the list of 675 individuals. NLC boss Muhammad Swazuri yesterday said each land owner will receive Sh800,000 per acre.

The National Land Commission has released a list of individuals to be compensated after their land was acquired to build a coal-fired power plant in Kwasasi, Lamu county.
