Police killed a suspected robber near Jogoo road police station on Tuesday night during a botched robbery.
A mini browning pistol was recovered from the suspect who is said to be behind a number of robberies in the area.
Over the past few weeks, several suspects have been killed by police in botched robberies in Nairobi. Most are aged between 20 and 30 years.
In a majority of the incidents, police recover pistols.
