Chiloba makes maiden appointments as IEBC boss

IEBC has appointed Marjan Hussein Marjan as its new Deputy Commission Secretary/CEO in charge of support services.

James Muhati Buyekane takes over as ICT director while Osman Hussein Ibrahim is the new Finance director.

The appointments made on Thursday followed interviews conducted by PwC and the commission.

Marjan will be tasked with leadership, finance and audit functions, CEO Ezra Chiloba said in a statement.

Chiloba noted that he is also experienced in information security systems audit and strategic management.

He is the head of Internal Audit, Investigation and Quality at Telkom Kenya.

Buyekane is the head of Information systems at Kenya Airways.

"He is a well-rounded ICT professional experienced in application development, infrastructure support, strategy and planning and project implementation," Chiloba said.

Ibrahim who works at Kenya School of Government as Finance and administration director has over 19 years experience in the field.

He has been involved in the computerisation of finance processes, ISO certifiction programmes and the development of financial management processes.
