

Nairobians on Saturday braved the cold to attend an economic empowerment forum at the State House.
Youths were seen chanting “two terms” as they walked to the State House.
Ruto’s administration has been holding the empowerment forums across the country to uplift Kenyans.
During the State House forum, Ruto urged Kenyans to register with the Social Health Authority, stating that they will be able to walk into a hospital and get services without paying out of their pockets.
“Jiandikishe na uandikishe familia yako ili wakiwa wagonjwa wapate matubabu bila malipo yoyote,” he said.
The President warned hospitals against fraud, adding that the government has set aside Sh13 billion to ease the financial burden of treatment.
Ruto said the national and county governments are collaborating to build classrooms.
“I am constructing 250 classes here, from my pocket, because I want our children to get educated, because every nation which believes in equality must invest in education,” he said.
