Nakuru county protesters on Tuesday gathered in various areas to protest against the Finance Bill 2024.

Hundreds of police officers were deployed on the streets to disperse the demonsrators.

Anti-riot police took positions in Nakuru town where youth were gathering for the protests.

They tear-gassed the protesters who dispersed in different directions.

Hundreds of youth have been in the streets in a push to have the Finance Bill 2024 dropped.

Last week, the government dropped some of the controversial clauses in the bill, but the youth maintain they want the bill dropped completely.
