Mbaka's colleagues led by the Star Digital Editor Francis Mureithi attended the burial.

Samwel Mbaka Gechanga died on April 28 and has left behind a widow and children.

He was laid to rest at Nyamondo village, South Mugirango Constituency in Kisii.
