During the session, he responded to questions raised by a number of Senators touching on various issues including the conflict between communities in Sondu, and the curfew imposed on various towns in Turkana county.
The CS also addressed questions relating to the murder of Meru blogger, Daniel Muthiani Bernard, alias Sniper.
Measures put in place to address social media attacks and harassment under the guise of freedom of expression were also addressed.
Kindiki also responded to questions on various measures the state has put in place to ensure effective delivery of National Administration services and security of Kenyans.
Other issues addressed touched on general security to all other issues that fall under the Interior and National Administration.
