[PHOTO] President Ruto inspects his Koelel Farm

President William Ruto on Sunday visited his Koelel Farm in Uasin Gishu County.

In photos shared by the President's communication team, Ruto is seen holding fertiliser accompanied by other farmers.

Ruto visited his farm after attending a church service at AIC Fellowship in Eldoret.

He was accompanied by First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto.

Earlier, the President revealed the plan to cut off imports and grow enough food in the country.

"Because I know when God promises to give us rain in the season it means that we should use that rain to feed ourselves and to reduce what we import from other countries," he said. 

Ruto last posted photos of himself at his farm in August 2023, when he visited to assess the progress of his crops.
