Most parts of Nairobi on Thursday morning experienced rain. Although they were light showers, they still caused some inconvenience for commuters and traders.
Hawkers who sell goods on the roadside along Haile Selassie Avenue were caught off guard and had to leave their products and find cover from the rain.
Some didn't want their items to get wet and damaged, so they used hard nylon paper to cover their items which were mainly farm products.
Commuters were not spared as they also had to deal with the rain.
They sought shelter under buildings to avoid getting wet.
As witnessed, people even had to make small jumps to avoid stepping into puddles of water that had formed on the road.
