AFC Leopards on Saturday marked their 60th anniversary with fan activities and engagements.

The activities begun on March 12 where the club donated items for charity to various schools for the physically challenged.

On Saturday, the club held interracial tournaments with an Ingwe night set for fans and football enthusiasts.

It was followed by a gala dinner and fundraiser for the club.

The Ingwe@60 dinner was attended by partners and stakeholders of the club with an agenda to raise funds to facilitate the club.

Those present at the dinner fete included Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka, Kakamega sports CEC, club Patron Alexander Muteshi, chairperson Dan Shikanda and Ingwe@60 team led by chairperson Dan Shimoli among others.

The team will also have friendlies with Gor Mahia, while both the ladies' teams will face each other head-on.

Gor Legends will play AFC Leopards Legends.

"We target to become one of the best teams. We want to bring back fans to the stadium. Our objective is to make AFC great so that it can sustain itself. We look to secure good players. AFC leopards will play A.E Ramassa and that is a good measure for us," Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi said.
