After a day filled with insightful development tours, President William Ruto culminated his Saturday evening with a dynamic meeting alongside Western leaders at the illustrious Kakamega State House.

The atmosphere was ablaze with collaboration as leaders gathered around a central bonfire, embracing the warmth both figuratively and literally.

To enhance the congenial ambiance, a tea service was thoughtfully arranged, serving not just as a beverage but as a gesture to ward off the evening chill.

Seated in a harmonious circular arrangement, the leaders delved into a rich exchange of ideas, engaging in meaningful discussions and seizing the opportunity to absorb President Ruto's comprehensive development agenda.

Among the distinguished attendees were Governors Fernandes Barasa (Kakamega) and Wilber Otichillo (Vihiga), National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula, COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli, and UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala, to name a few.

President Ruto, reinforcing his commitment to cross-party collaboration, publicly affirmed his willingness to work with leaders irrespective of political affiliations.

He passionately urged the assembled leaders to unite in their efforts to generate employment opportunities for the youth, who find themselves without a sustainable source of livelihood.

Ruto emphasized, "The leaders of Kenya, whether within the judiciary, legislature, or executive, must collectively strive for a common goal, recognizing the privilege of serving. Let us join forces, acknowledging that our positions are not a testament to our superiority but a call to action to uplift those who lack the opportunities we have been entrusted with."
