Azimio leader Raila Odinga on Monday toured Lamu County to popularise the Orange Democratic Movement.

The Azimio boss was warmly welcomed in the county by the residents and leaders.

He said the aspirations of the people of Lamu align perfectly with the core principles of the ODM party.

"The reception accorded to us today is a testament to our shared vision. This tour has been fantastic, and together, we'll fortify our party based on unity. Asanteni sana, tutarudi!" He said.

Earlier, the Azimio Chief Principal commissioned the Maweni Water Project in Manda, Lamu County.

He commissioned the water project in an event that was graced by other leaders from the party. 

Among them were Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir and ODM Deputy Party leader Wycliffe Oparanya.
