President William Ruto on Saturday attended the swearing-in ceremony of the Democratic Republic of Congo President Félix Tshisekedi.
The event took place at the Martyrs Stadium in the capital Kinshasa.
The President was accompanied with Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign and Diaspora Affairs CS Musalia Mudavadi among other leaders.
The President congratulated President Tshisekedi for securing the second term.
"Congratulations my brother, as you embark upon your second term. I wish to assure you and the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo of the continued friendship of the Kenyan people," he said.
