Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria on Monday took part in the national tree-planting exercise.

Kuria led the exercise at Kamobo Forest in Emugwen, Nandi County.

He was accompanied by the host Governor Stephen Sang,  Secretary for ICT, John Tanui and Nandi county commissioner Caroline Nzuili.

In Siaya, where he was scheduled to lead the exercise, Kuria was represented by Leah Kasera from the office of Head of Public Service and Chairperson of the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication Charles Owino.

They planted trees at the Siaya Institute of Technology.
