President William Ruto on Tuesday attended a Kenya-China Investment forum in Beijing.
Ruto went to China on Saturday evening to attend the Belt and Road Initiative forum as it marks its 10th anniversary.
Monday, Ruto visited the China National Renewable Energy Centre (CNREC).
The tour came after the signing of an agreement with China’s Energy International Group.
The signing ceremony was held in Beijing and was witnessed by Ruto.
Ruto's visit to China is also meant to highlight Kenya's active participation in the Belt and Road initiative.
He said the forum brings together world leaders in Beijing for talks on cooperation and partnership, emphasising infrastructure development and enhanced connectivity across continents.
President Ruto will also hold bilateral talks with President Xi Jinping and other world leaders to discuss matters of mutual benefit and cooperation.
