The People’s Republic of China on Wednesday marked 74 years since its founding on October 1, 1949.
Delegates from across the country were invited to grace the event.

During the event, Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Zhou Pingjian underscored the importance of bilateral ties between Kenya and China.
Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi, US Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whitman, Speaker of the Senate Gladys Shollei, Kisii Governor Simba Arati and Royal Media Services Editorial Director Linus Kaikai were among the invited guests.

The guests were treated to traditional songs and entertainment from both countries.
