Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua is in Rome, Italy for an official visit.
The CS said he attended a high-level meeting to negotiate the unlocking of key development projects for Kenya that Italy is supporting.
"This is a follow-up of the bilateral meeting held in New York between President Williams Ruto and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni," he said.
Mutua noted that the follow-up is vital to ensure all the agreements and discussions that were held in New York are implemented for the benefit of the people of Kenya.
"Together with the Kenyan team, I thank the Italian government and especially my colleague, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani for the continued support and partnership," Mutua said.
The CS said the government is confident of great success that will see the creation of jobs and quality of life for millions of Kenyans improved.
"Our infrastructure will be greatly enhanced to support the growth of our economy."
"The relationship between Kenya and Italy is robust and at a very high level."
