Normal activities have resumed in Mombasa on the third day of protests called by the Opposition.

Residents could be seen going about their business without the tension that had been witnessed on the first day.

There was no heavy presence of police either.

Business owners went on with their daily activities.

On day one of the protests, residents who heeded the call by Azimio engaged the police in running battles, with the police being forced to lob teargas to disperse the protesters.
