Azimio leaders and former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga's supporters on Thursday turned up at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
They were heard chanting 'Chairman' as they waited to see their leader who was inside DCI offices.
'Tunataka Chairman akuje," the crowd shouted.
Police clashed with Njenga's supporters and lobbed teargas at them.
