Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo on Monday held bilateral talks with delegates from the United States.
Omollo said the US has been a strategic and enduring partner in Kenya's development journey.
The meeting, which was held at the US Department of State in Washington DC, was co-chaired by Foreign Affairs CS Alfred Mutua and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
" The deliberations were anchored on issues of mutual interest between the two countries, with a focus on the five pillars of the Strategic Partnership Framework signed in 2018," Omollo said.
The pillars of the strategic partnership framework include economic prosperity, health cooperation, multi-lateral or regional issues, defence cooperation and democracy, governance, and civilian security.
Trade and Investments CS Moses Kuria was also present at the meeting.
