Kondele locals in Kisumu County on Monday heeded the Azimio protest calls and took to the streets.

Businesses remained closed with minimal activity in Kisumu’s Kondele and Kibos areas on Monday as residents braced for Raila Odinga's protest calls.

A handful of PSV vehicles were seen at the Kisumu bus terminus.

Some locals stayed away while others took to the streets where they burnt tyres on the roadside.
