Family and friends of former Communications Authority Director General Francis Wangusi held a requiem mass ahead of his burial on March 18.
The service was followed by family and friends viewing his body.
He will be laid to rest at his home in Tuuti-Kibabii, Bungoma county.

Wangusi left the Communication Authority in August 2019 at the end of his tenure having been at the helm of the organization since August 21, 2012.
He first held the position in an acting capacity for a year before he was confirmed as the substantive CA boss.
In 2015, the CA Board renewed his tenure, a position he held until his departure.
Wangusi was replaced by Mercy Wanjau who until her appointment in an acting capacity, was the Director of Legal Services at the Authority and also served as the Board Secretary.
