President William Ruto on Friday held talks with the African Union Commission chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat at Statehouse, Nairobi.
Ruto said that African countries must work towards the elimination of trade barriers and offer leadership in creating momentum for their economic growth.
Through the implementation of Agenda 2063, he said, he would work to make intra-African trade a reality.
Also, present during the meeting were Ministry of Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale, and Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry Cabinet Secretary, Moses Kuria.
Others National Security Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kenya Ambassador Monica Juma and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Kenya Josphat Nanok.
