Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale on Monday visited troops stationed at the Kenya Navy Base (KNB) in Manda Bay, Kolbio and Bodhei.
"In an extension of my festive season tour, accompanied by the VCDF Lt Gen Francis Ogolla, we relayed Christmas greetings and New Year wishes from President William Ruto to our troops stationed at the Kenya Navy Base (KNB) in Manda Bay, Kolbio and Bodhei," he said.

Duale said he took the opportunity to outline the new administration's approach to security provision.
"I took the opportunity to outline the new administration's approach to security provision, with one of the measures being focused on a soldier-centred, welfare-oriented approach in order to enhance the morale of KDF personnel," he said.
"It includes, among other measures, the upgrading and construction of health and housing facilities."
