Roads, Transport and Public Works Cabinet Secretary nominee Kipchumba Murkomen has arrived for vetting at County Hall in Nairobi.

Murkomen arrived at around 8:30 clad in a navy blue suit and a red-dotted tie for his vetting.

Murkomen was elected Elgeyo Marakwet senator on August 9 but he is expected to resign if approved for the CS post.

Rosalinda Soipan Tuya who is Environment and Forestry CS nominee will be vetted after Murkomen. Peninah Malonza for OGW Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage is third on today's list of vetting.

Zacharia Mwangi Njeru, Lands, Housing and Urban Development CS and Susan Nakhumicha Wafula for Health will also be vetted on Wednesday.

The vetting of the appointed cabinet secretaries started on Monday, October 17.
