The Supreme Court of Kenya began hearing the presidential poll petition filed by Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga who is challenging the result of the August 9 presidential election.
The seven-judge bench led by Martha Koome held the pre-trials on Tuesday.
Some of the lawyers present are Prof George Wajakoyah, Former attorney general Githu Muigai, Uashi Gishu women rep Gladys Shollei, Prof Kithure Kindiki, Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru, Lawyer Apollo Mboya, Lawyer William Cheptumo, Lawyer Charles Kanjama, Senior counsel prof Tom Ojienda, Lawyer Philip Murgor.

The number was four and also for lawyers representing the Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission was limited to four.
