[PHOTOS] Celebrations in Kapsabet after Ruto's win

Celebrations rock in Kapsabet after former Deputy president William Ruto was declared president-elect on Monday August 15, 2022.

Thousands of his supporters took to the streets of Kapsabet, chanting songs and slogans to celebrate Ruto's win.

Ruto garnered 7,176,141 votes which is 50.49 per cent of the total votes.

Azimio’s Raila Odinga garnered 6,942,930 votes.

Similar celebrations also rocked major towns in the region including Eldoret, Iten, Kapsowar and Kabarnet among others.
