State House Kenya held a special thanksgiving prayer and worship service for the successful 10-year tenure of their Excellencies President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at State House Nairobi on Sunday.
The interfaith service was attended by State House Kenya staff from all State Houses and State Lodges led by Comptroller of State House Kinuthia Mbugua and Chief of Staff in the Office of the First Lady Constance Gakonyo.
Bishop Abraham Mulwa of the African Inland Church delivered the sermon at the service that was also attended by several senior government officials among them Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua, Gender CS Prof Margaret Kobia and NMS director General Mohamed Badi.
"You're a victor. You're all victors. Don't be held back by your doubters. You've done well. Move on with your heads held high, and never be afraid to offer yourselves again for the service and prosperity of your country. Don't tire."
That was the message from Bishop Mulwa to President Uhuru Kenyatta, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and State House staff.
