Interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang'i presided over the passing out parade for paramilitary training for Assistant County Commissioners (ACC).
While addressing 451 ACC graduates on Wednesday at Embakasi, he said the graduates have been equipped with additional skills and knowledge to counter drugs, radicalisation and other key challenges faced in dispensing security and citizen services to Kenyans.
Matiang'i said political leaders should refrain from unwarranted attacks on National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs).
He said the government has prioritized training for NGAOs with a focus on entrenching professionalism and virtues that breed confidence in security services over the past 10 years.
He urged the officers to remain steadfast in performing their duties.
