His Butali Chegulo ward counterpart said the police officers including the Officer Commanding Station of Khwisero should be suspended and disciplinary action taken against them.

The MCAs further want Khwisero MP to be held responsible for the death of one of their own alleging that the culprit was a close ally to the MP.

The western regional police commander Kiprono Lang’at’s said the police were investigating the matter.

He asked the MCAs, the family members and the public to give them more time to get to the root of the matter.

“We can say we are at 50 percent with our investigations and we are asking for members of the public not to fear to come forth and give us more information that can lead to the arrest of the culprits,” said Lang’at
