ODM leader Raila Odinga has said he will continue to sell his Azimio la Umoja movement to every part of Kenya to make sure that all people are united regardless of their tribe, race, religion or political affiliation.

Addressing mourners during a requiem for Nakuru former mayor Joseck Thuo Ngeta at ACK Cathedral Nakuru, Raila said no one should feel insecure to live in any part of the country.

“Kenyans should be able to live anywhere in Kenya without any fear that they will be harassed or molested. A Kikuyu, Kalenjin, Luhya or a Luo can live in any part of Kenya,” Raila said.

Raila added that no Kenyan should live at the mercy of any person and that Kenya should never have internal refugees in form of IDPS as was witnessed in the aftermath of the 2007 polls.

The ODM leader, who also addressed his supporters, said that his gun is loaded with many bullets and he will be in the ballot come August 9, 2022.

“We started Azimio la Umoja here in Nakuru with Governor Lee Kinyanjui and others; this journey is in top gear up to the end and I want the youths to be my foot soldiers here,” Raila stated.

He has also urged youths to come out in large numbers to register as voters as IEBC conducts another round of mass registration from January 17.

Raila was to address a set of rallies at Mazembe grounds and in Nakuru CBD, plans that were shelved at the last minute.
