Moi University marks 31st graduation ceremony with two-day fete

Moi University, Eldoret on Thursday marked its 31st graduation ceremony with 600 students being awarded PhDs, degrees and diplomas. University Chancellor Prof Miriam Were presided over the conferment at the University’s Kesses main campus. Vice chancellor Prof Richard Mibei closed the ceremony. Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi was supposed to be the chief guest but did not turn up.

University Chancellor Prof Miriam Were presided over the conferment at the University’s Kesses main campus.

Vice chancellor Prof Richard Mibei closed the ceremony.

Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi was supposed to be the chief guest but did not turn up.

The ceremony was a two-day affair ending yesterday.

Audrey Nyakabi Iguta who is the daughter of the Star newspaper's correspondent Sonu Tanu graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management second class

honors, upper division.

The graduation was the university's 31st

ceremony.
