Students at Gianchere Mixed Boarding Secondary in Kisii on Thursday engaged in a protest to voice their disapproval against the transfer of their school principal.

In hundreds, they walked about three kilometres to the education office in Keumbu in Nyaribari Chache to demand the reinstatement of David Unoka Obonyo.

Those who spoke to the Star claimed that they rejected the new principal over dismal performance at his former school.
