This year's Kisumu Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Regional show is set to resume after three years.

The event which was normally held yearly had failed to take place due to Covid 19 pandemic.

The event was last held within the lakeside city in 2019 at the ASK grounds at Mamboleo.

According to George Ongudi, the ASK Kisumu branch Chairman, the event will take place in late July running up to August.

While confirming this, Ongudi said they have already started reaching out to potential exhibitors whom he noted were very positive.

"At the moment, we are currently reaching out to parastatals, and learning institutions alongside other traditional exhibitors and so far we have reached about 100 potential exhibitors and are optimistic that the number will increase," he said.

The Chairman further added that in this year's event, they are also expecting exhibitors from both public and private universities, national polytechnics and TVETs and also from the East African community as well.
